MEMBERS of outlaw motorcycle gang the Finks roared through Merredin about 3.30pm on Friday.
WA Gang Crime Squad officers followed the Finks Motorcycle Club members from the WA border to Perth.
An additional highway patrol vehicle was stationed at the Merredin BP Roadhouse, but the Finks stopped at the Shell Roadhouse.
The 15 bikies were travelling to Perth from the Eastern States.
They left Kalgoorlie about 10.30am on Friday, but officers set up a road block just out of Kalgoorlie and spent more than half an hour breath-testing the bikies before the journey could continue.
The bikies arrived in Perth on Friday evening to meet up with about 200 other Finks members from all over Australia.
Earlier this month WA Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan rejected claims too many police resources had been allocated to monitor the gang.
“Outlaw motorcycle gangs are simply a front for organised criminal activity, distribution of drugs and other major organised crime in Australia,” he said.
