A PINK Ladies’ Day luncheon in Narembeen this Saturday will feature inspirational speakers and a focus on women’s health and pregnancy issues.
Starting at 10am, the free event is open to all women will include morning tea and lunch and will feature a lineup of entertaining and informative speakers.
“Today’s woman is a blend of traditional values and contemporary style, a storehouse of incredible force and colourful life,” event organiser Jackie Gray said.
“At Pink Ladies’ Day, women are invited to dine over a sumptuous lunch and have time out for themselves.
“This event aims to help women maintain their positive mental wellbeing, by remembering to look after themselves.
“Catching up with friends at a day like this greatly benefits wellbeing.”
She said the day would also have a special focus on improving awareness of perinatal health.
“Dr Olga Ward will speak on good emotional health during pregnancy and early parenthood as unfortunately, one in ten women experience depression during pregnancy and one in seven women experience postnatal depression.”
Additional speakers for the day will include Jodie Matthews who will present on yogalates and Sally Robson Thomas from Relationships WA who will let women know it is okay to think about themselves.
Jehosaphat the Hippie will finish the day off with lots of laughing, singing and dancing.
