For some, thinking is about as far as it gets… but 2010 is the season for change at Nukarni!

By change, I mean getting all those who have wanted to pull the boots on for a few years now, to come down and join the Nukarni Demons in some pre-season training.

The Demons are looking to take one step further in 2010 after a fantastic season last year, both on and off the field.

John Lombardini has taken the league coaching role for the third consecutive season, supported by the able Pep Alvaro in the A-reserves.

For all who are keen, pre-season training starts this week, on Wednesday February 3, at 6pm at the rec ground – bring joggers and a good attitude.

There will also be food and refreshments available, so please, hang around afterwards and embrace the camaraderie!

Training will be on Wednesdays and Fridays until mid March, when it’ll revert back to the standard Tuesday/Thursday combination.

The committee would like to extend a warm welcome to all past, present and of course new players to the club for what will no doubt be an action-packed season on and off the field.
