Nungarin still undefeated after five rounds of cricket

ROUND four and five of cricket have seen Nungarin rocket further into the lead, with five wins for the season.

The only other team to come close is Bruce Rock – Shackleton – Ardath who have had three wins, a loss and a bye, while Corrigin and Nukarni have had two wins each.

On Saturday November 7, Kondinin 10 for 92 defeated Narembeen 10 for 74.

CCCs forfeited to Nungarin due to a player shortage.

Corrigin-Babakin 8 for 170 had a fine defeat over Nukarni 10 for 99.

Corrigin-Babakin scorers were G Connelly 79 runs and R A Crombie 31 runs.

Bowling for Nukarni were M Harrod 4 for 26 and M Sharp 3 for 29.

Nukarni players M Harrod scored 37, K O’Neil 25. Bowling for Corrigin were T Elsegood 6 for 13 and R D Crombie 2 for 24.

BRSA had the bye.

On Saturday November 14, Nungarin 8 for 170 defeated Nukarni 10 for 169.

Fine players for Nungarin were D. Beilken 44 runs, W. Morris 33 runs.

Bowling for Nukarni were D Giles 3 for 15 and M Harrod 2 for 28. Fine players for Nukarni were D Giles who scored 31 runs, D Gardiner 59 runs.

Bowling for Nangarin were J Waters 3 for 31 and J Morris 1 for 8.

A convincing win by BRSA 4 for 79 over Narembeen 10 for 72. Strong players for BRSA were S. Kilmister 26 runs, D Payne 17 not out. Bowling for Narembeen were D Hayter 1 for 9 and W. Hooper 1 for 8.

Strong players for Narembeen were J Kennedy 17 runs, J Cole 15 runs.

Bowling for BRSA were O Hayes-Thompson 2 for 10 and D Payne 2 for 12.

CCC’s 5 for 198 won their game over Kondinin 10 for 193. CCC’S scorers were D Alberti 83 runs great playing C. Rayner 31 not out. Bowling for Kondinin were D Ellis 2 for 30 and S Day 1 for 17. Kondinin scorers were S Days 40 runs and T Wilson 34 runs.

Bowling for CCC’S was B Jardine 3 for 26 and K James 3 for 38.
