ON A very hot 38 degree Celsius day last Sunday, the women of the Civic Bowling Club held their Championship Triples.
The Championships Triples started at 9am and four games were played on the day.
There were some close games and excellent games.
The winning team was Toni Madigan, Anna Wallace, Yvonne Heinrich and the runners-up were Kay Bush, Jo Potter and Chris Shapely.
Chris Shapely was welcomed to Civic Bowling and the club hoped she enjoyed her first day of bowls.
The club extended best wishes to its representatives at the Champ of Champs at Corrigin this Friday.
