A MASSIVE 419 people turned out to watch the International Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow at Cummins Theatre last Thursday night.
With nothing sacred, the five acts had the audience in fits of laughter.
While not household names at the moment, these comedians are definitely ones to keep an eye on.
The five acts were Smart Casual, David Quirk, Marina Franklin and Harley Breen with Joel Creasy as MC.
Audience feedback on the night was exceptional and the comedians said they loved the audience and the historic theatre.
Merredin Repertory Club with the support of Lotterywest through the Country Arts WA - Share the Risk program organised and ran the event.
Any community group is encouraged to apply for this funding which allows a show to be brought to town and if a financial loss occurs then this can be shared between the group and Country Arts.
The repertory club thanked Cummins Theatre manager Ursula Andinach for help and advice in the planning phase for the project and the numerous business and individuals throughout the whole region that helped spread the word about the show which ensured the fantastic attendance at the event.
