THREE members of the Nukarni/Nokanning Bush Fire Brigade received five and 10-year long service medals and another member received a national service member at last Tuesday’s Merredin Shire Council meeting.
Russell Cockram, Graham McCall and Merv Howell received long service medals and Bob Gray received the national service medal.
The four bush fire brigade members were very humble at the medal presentation and unanimously agreed that they were just farmers helping out their fellow neighbouring farmers.
